Dr. John Hartley, DDS & Ms. Robbie Hutchison: New Residents of Edgartown Dr. John Hartley and his wife, Robbie Hutchison moved to the Vineyard in April '99 from Virginia. They were married on the Vineyard in 1988. Like so many others, they fell in love with the Island while vacationing over the years and decided to make this their home. Their distinctive new building is located at 207 Upper Main Street in Edgartown. Dr. Hartley's dental office is on the first floor. He is an avid jogger and sports enthusiast.

Dr. Hartley attended the Medical College of Virginia's Dental School, graduating in 1982. He has been in private practice for 15 years in Arlington, Virginia. His Edgartown office is one of the most modern in the state. It is equipped with digital radiography, which uses no developing chemicals and reduces radiation by 80% for every patient. His intraoral camera allows each patient to see what he sees! It is helpful in diagnosis and treatment planning, allows the patient to participate in all phases of treatment planning.
